SUMMARY OF JOB The Customer Service Representative provides prompt, efficient and accurate customer service; represents the Bank in a courteous, professional manner; completes all transactions efficiently and accurately, while securing customer privacy and confidentiality; and is alert to customer needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES 1.
Process customer transactions:
receive deposits, verify cash and endorsements and issue receipts, make withdrawals, cash checks, sell money orders, provide customer account printouts, scan work for remote capture, and receive installment loan payments.

Open customer accounts and cross-sell the Bank's services and products.
3.
Provide customer access to safe deposit boxes (where applicable) 4.
Carry out facility opening and closing procedures.
5.
Balance transactions at end of day and verify cash totals.
6.
Complete daily reports, logs and necessary documentation.
7.
Operate drive-up teller window, including rotating Saturday staffing.
8.
Answer telephone, transfer calls, and take messages.
9.
Greet customers and refer them to the appropriate staff.
10.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS 1.
High school graduate or equivalent required.
2.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and co-workers.
3.
Cash management experience and accuracy highly preferred.
4.
Customer service and retail sales experience preferred.
5.
Ability to use core processing and data systems.
6.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a computer, typewriter and 10-key calculator/adding machine.
7.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 15 to 20 pounds.
8.
Successful completion of teller training and any other compliance training deemed necessary by the Bank.
